Weihnachtsfest 2024 Kicks Off December 7th – Celebrating 32 Years of Holiday Cheer in Russell. The 32nd annual Weihnachtsfest is set to begin on Saturday, December 7th, bringing a festive, family-friendly atmosphere to Russell. This year’s celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever with a variety of holiday events running from December 7th through December 21st, culminating in the drawing for the highly anticipated Santa Button winner. The official kick-off on December 7th will feature a packed evening of festive activities along Main Street from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy extended store hours for holiday shopping, food trucks, vendors, pictures with Santa, downtown Carriage rides, express train, and wine and craft beer tastings. Local vendors will line the sidewalks offering seasonal treats like soups, cinnamon rolls, and unique take-home items. One of the evening's highlights will be the Lighted Christmas Parade, starting at 7:15 PM.…
