About the event
Join the Kansas Historical Society and the Kansas Anthropological Association for the 2026 Kansas Archeology Training Program (KATP) Field School in Russell!
Participants will work and learn alongside professional and avocational archeologists in both field and lab settings. No experience is necessary — just a desire to learn. Training is provided, and archeology courses will be offered throughout the program.
Participants must be at least 12 years old. Youth ages 12–17 must be accompanied by a sponsoring adult. Attend for a single day, a weekend, or the full…
