About the event
The Russell County Kickoff Classic Livestock Show will take place on May 2, 2026 in Russell, Kansas. Youth exhibitors are invited to participate in a day of livestock competition featuring swine, beef, sheep, and goat shows, along with showmanship classes for all age divisions.
Exhibitors must enter through the Showman App (no exceptions). Those wishing to receive a free event T-shirt must complete registration by April 20th.
The show will feature champion and reserve awards, class payouts, unique showmanship prizes, and drawing giveaways for each species. Rules and additional details can be found on the Russell County Kick Off Classic Youth Livestock Show or the North Central Kansas Livestock Circuit Facebook pages.
