Join us to learn more about the 2026 Kansas Archeology Training Program Field School coming to Russell this June!
This informational presentation will be led by Paige Bump, Project and Outreach Coordinator Archeologist with the Kansas Historical Society. Attendees will learn about this year’s field school taking place June 4–15, including what participants can expect, the organizations involved, details about the location, and how you can get involved!
No prior experience is needed to participate in the field school, and opportunities range from single-day attendance to full program involvement.
Registration for the field school is open March 15 through May 29.
Whether you’re new to archeology or just curious to learn more, this is a great opportunity to get involved and explore Kansas history!
