Storm Fury on the Plains Presentation

The annual Storm Fury on the Plains Presentation and Storm Spotter Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 10 at 6:30 PM at the historic Dream Theater, 629 N. Main Street, Russell. Meteorologists from the National Weather Service in Wichita will present an in-depth look at severe weather, including how different types of storms form, how to recognize storm features and potential severity, how to report hazardous weather, and tips for staying safe before, during, and after severe weather events. The presentation is designed for both new and experienced storm spotters, lasts approximately two hours, and admission is free with concessions available.
