About the event
The Summer Art Program is a 14-week series of free art classes for area children, made possible through a partnership with Feeding the Children of North Central Kansas. In 2024, the program provided over 200 lunches and 350 art lessons at no cost to families—and thanks to your support, they are excited to offer it again this summer. Lunch & Learn sessions take place every Thursday from May 22 to July 31, combining a free lunch with engaging, hands-on art activities. From August 7 to August 21, they will continue with Art Only Thursdays. Each week includes a range of creative sessions: Preschool Art begins at 11:00 AM, followed by Social Art at 12:00 PM, and Quiet Art at 1:00 PM.
